  259. "MacTcl is not a full port.  Some items will probably never be fully supported as they are too tied to the UNIX operating system.  An example is the 'exec' function.  Other features are handled a little differently in the Mac version. "

  262. This is a interpreter for the Tcl/Tk scripting language.  Tcl/Tk has
  263. been available for several years.  This is a beta version of a port of the scripting language to this environment.  It is very useful for
  264. creating user interfaces.  However, the current version only creates interfaces with the Motif look & feel(yuck!).  The Macintosh look & feel is being worked on now.  Tcl/Tk also supports sockets and running untrusted scripts in a "safe" sub-interpreter."
